They only
call it evil
because it works.
Grass-fed, grass-finished tallow. Manuka honey. Cold-pressed olive oil. Whipped until it's air, not grease. That's the entire formula — and it's why the aisle full of unpronounceable moisturizers is nervous.
Zero toxins. No BS.

The texture test
Sound on. This is what "whipped" actually means.
Yes. It's animal fat.
That's the point.
Your skin's barrier is built from oleic, palmitic and stearic fatty acids. Tallow is built from the same ones. That's why your grandmother's generation didn't need eleven steps to stop their faces cracking in winter.
Grass-fed. Grass-finished.
Two different claims, and most brands only make the first. Finished on grass means the fat profile never got corrected by a feedlot.
Rendered clean
Slow, low, filtered. A beefy smell isn't tallow — it's a shortcut in the rendering. Ours doesn't have one.
Whipped, not slabbed
Air is the difference between "sinks in" and "sits there." Whipped until a pea covers a whole face.
Why this jar
ruins other
moisturizers
A three-line ingredient list
Tallow. Manuka honey. Cold-pressed olive oil. You can read the whole label out loud without stumbling — try that with the tube in your bathroom.
Nothing hiddenBarrier-matched, not stripped
Built from the same fatty acids your skin already uses to hold water in. Nothing in the jar asks your face to adapt to it.
Sebum-similarEdible-grade standard
Held to a standard you could eat. Which raises a fair question about everything you currently put near your mouth and eyes.
Food-grade inputsOne jar replaces four
Face, hands, elbows, dry patches, the spot on your shin that never heals. It doesn't need a matching serum to work.

Most people
use way
too much
Every complaint about tallow feeling heavy traces back to dosage. This is a concentrate, not a lotion. Use it like one and it disappears.
Scoop a pea. Not a scoop.
Dry hands or a small spatula keeps the jar clean. A pea-size amount covers an entire face.
Warm it between your palms
Three seconds and it turns to oil. Everybody skips this step, and it decides whether it sinks or sits.
Press onto damp skin
Damp, not dry. It seals in the water already there — exactly what an occlusive is built to do.

Unscripted
Sound on for both.

The hard
questions
Will my face smell like a steakhouse?
No. A beefy smell is the signature of badly rendered fat, not of tallow itself. Ours is slow-rendered, filtered, and left completely unscented — no essential oils, nothing covering anything up.
Is it going to clog my pores?
Tallow's fatty acid profile is close to your own sebum, which is why most people tolerate it well — but skin is personal and nobody should promise you a universal outcome. Use a pea-size amount on damp skin, and if you're acne-prone, patch test along your jawline for a few nights first.
It feels greasy. What am I doing wrong?
Almost always dosage. A pea covers a full face. Warm it in your palms for three seconds so it turns to oil before it touches your skin — applied that way it sinks in instead of sitting on top.
Will it arrive melted in summer?
It can soften or liquefy in transit heat, and that's harmless — tallow re-solidifies. Twenty to thirty minutes in the fridge and it firms back up. The whipped peaks may not return exactly as photographed; the formula is unaffected.
No preservatives — how do I keep it clean?
Water is the enemy of any preservative-free balm. Dry hands or a small spatula, keep it out of the shower, lid back on, stored cool. Treat it like a good olive oil, not a bathroom-shelf lotion.
How long does one jar last?
At a pea-size dose once or twice a day, most people work through a jar over a couple of months. Because it's whipped, you get noticeably more applications than from a dense un-whipped balm the same size.
Is it vegan?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Tallow is rendered beef fat and the honey comes from bees. If animal-derived ingredients are a dealbreaker, this isn't your product — better you know here than after opening the jar.

Three ingredients.
No apologies.
Keep decoding a label written in chemistry, or use something your skin already recognises. One of those options is genuinely sinister.
